hmmm....

time for a new round of guesses? But Grandad Bates--regardless of whether he hits the jackpot--deserves special recognition for being the only one left in the running from the original round of betting.

Unless you're doing Price is Right rules. Then I still have a chance.

OK. Ms.-No-Pitocin-For-Me-Granola-Eater,

I now say June 13th. It will be a long and arduous labor. She will be at least 9lbs. And be one of the most loved babies on the planet.

Hm, my new wager is June 11th. Weight: 8 lbs, 11 oz. JTB will try not to cuss while in labor. Brent will sob, Grandma will tear up and take great pics, all the while comparing Clare Madeline to JTB as a newborn.

By the way, have you come up with a contribution to the GASB soundtrack?

I didn't vote last round, so I'll say Tuesday the 13th...sometime betzeen 2:30 Paris time and - 6:30 Boston time, which allows for that handy relativity thing to kick in.

June 12th, 9 pounds 2 oz, brown fringe around the ears and blue eyes

I think June 12 sounds like a really balanced day to be born. It also has the advantage of being tomorrow!

I will say June 13th. Even though at some point she will celebrate her birthday on Friday the 13th. There's something about more babies being born on Tuesdays. It will be a fast labor (because I think she's been working on it the whole time I've been here)and since we've put this off, I'll up the ante on the weight to say 9 lbs. 2 oz. 21 inches long. Blue eyes (don't all babies have blue eyes?), not much hair...just a smidge around the hairline. If she's like her mother, she'll come out protesting at the top of her lungs.

Ok, I'm going on record now: June 14th.
