kniftty

If you had a choice about it, what amazingly marvelous handknitted Christmas gift would you most like to receive? Are you a Dumbledore who fervently wishes for warm socks? Or are you like my mei-mei, who wants legwarmers for her arms?

I'm far more likely to ask for yarn or needles, so I'm not much help there. But my favorite things to knit for others are fulled slippers, armwarmers or hats. They're fast and almost everyone loves them. Any socks I knit are, selfishly, for only myself. ^_^

By the way, did you have Neller @ Harding for Greek I/II in 1997/98? (Just curious; I was at Harding at the same time you were, but I'm not sure if that class is where I remember you from.)

I had Neller for second semester Greek, and it was spring 98, I think, which would've been my last semester at Harding...

I thought I recognized you. That was the semester when all of the girls were in the same class. I think there were 4 of us?

Anyhow, that immaterial. What I wanted to say is that I really enjoy reading your blog. I wasn't aware of it until recently, but I really appreciate the way you say things. And as a female c of C theologian, you are endeared to me beyond measure. ^_~

aw, shucks. There were really four girls in that class? I can remember not being all alone but since I sat in the back row btw Betts and Marty Rowe I really didn't pay much attention overall. Really I was a terrible student! Email me (address is on blogger profile) and tell me who you are?

P.S. do you have a fave pattern for armwarmers?
