So, apparently this blog has had 0 visitors since April of this year. I don't check statcounter much anymore, being content with simply naively trusting that there is something like a readership in existence. (Perhaps my alien friends don't get counted on statcounter? Which suggests a cosmic xenophobic bias in the statcounting technology, there. Get to work on fixing that, please.)
So...helloooooooooooo? Are you there, Readers? It's me, JTB...

I read your blog! But I do it on Google Reader. Does that impact your counts?

Personally, I read your blog's RSS feed through Google Reader, and because it delivers full feeds, I don't typically come over here except to see if there are comments.
But, it might also be how you have your tracking code installed. If you've made changes to your template recently, it might have gotten messed up.
This might be a good time to look at leaving Blogger behind, and moving to an awesome service like WordPress.com, which is awesome, and can import all of this blogs posts and comments, but make it much happier and shinier going forward :)
I'm here! Keep writing, please! I've got your blog on my Google Reader and I don't think stat counters count people like me...
well, I might consider switching to wordpress if I can't fix this situation. I messed around with my statcounter info and we'll see.
I'm here. I just read via a feed reader. ^_^
There's a site I've been using for my ordination-type posts called TheoBlogers.com, if you're looking for another platform. It's a wordpress installation, but a lot of plug-ins are theology specific (i.e., RefTagger and SermonCompanion).
Anyhow, you can even set it up to work with your own domain. It's where Randy Harris has his blog and that’s kind of how I found the place in the beginning. I'm enjoying it over there, though.
Just some thought-fodder.
I always read, but via google reader. I usually only click over to a post if I am especially interested in commenting or reading others' comments. Just noticed your new header pic -- I love it!
Yes, Jennifer, I read your blog faithfully (via Google Reader).
I read too through Google Reader. I use Sitemeter for on my blog. There's a free version and I love the info I get from it.
Your stat counter has got to be broken. Because although I have you in Google Reader, I've also crossed over to you from Dating Jesus and I've clicked on your blog independent of either of those, as well.
As a Wordpress user and as a blog reader who remains frustrated trying to navigate blogs by anyone else, I highly recommend you make the switch! I love, love, love Wordpress and can't imagine ever using anyone else!
I'm here via reader as well.
Oh good. 'Tis working again.
(I wouldn't care so much except that I think it's a bit important to track the stats for the sake of the women in the CofC series.)
(But thank you, Dear Ones, for the mood lift today.)
I'm a regular reader. I usually check in once a month and read back through the posts.
I follow along too - though mostly on the RSS feed.
I'm here.
Google Reader RSS too. Always read your posts - and usually share them with Kate too.
I use Bloglines feeder to read.
You have more readers than I do! :-)
present! like most, i read via google reader so i'm fairly certain that doesn't show up in your stats.
and kenny (above) will tell you that moving your stuff from blogger to wordpress ISN'T as easy as it seems. he was kind enough to work on my blog for quite a while to make the move and it was one big hairy mess. and kenny's an expert at this kind of stuff!
Hi Jennifer,
I haven't been reading, but I will be now. We didn't officially meet, but I was at the theology students bkfst. I've added you to my blogroll http://jamesmccarty.wordpress.com/ if that's okay. I'm glad to send any traffic to anyone speaking out for coc women!
Ditto above commenters--read you thru google bloglines---enjoy all of your musings & personal ramblings!!
Add me to the list of regular readers!
